Longthorpe Scouts

The 8th Longthorpe Scout Group provides fun, exciting, adventurous, challenging, and educational activities for 6-14 year old girls and boys, in Peterborough, Cambridgshire in the United Kingdom.

We have three sections:

  • Beavers, or Beaver Scouts, for girls and boys aged six to eight.
  • Cubs, or Cub Scouts, for girls and boys aged eight to ten and a half.
  • Scouts, for girls and boys aged ten and a half to fourteen.

All 8th Longthorpe Scouts, Cubs and Beavers play games, make things, go places, meet new friends, earn badges, and have fun.

More than 5,000 young people aged 6 to 14 enjoy the Scouting adventure every week across Cambridgeshire through Beavers, Cubs, Scouts. It takes over 1,200 adult volunteers to make this happen as Scout Leaders, Assistants, Helpers, Managers and Administrators, all playing a major part in delivering an amazing adventure week in, week out.
